Responsibilities

Summary: Trident Seafoods is seeking a highly motivated and experienced SAP Master Data Governance Business Analyst to support enterprise master data operations and governance within the SAP S/4HANA environment. This role is business-facing and will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, and technical teams to ensure master data processes support operational and transformation goals across the organization.

 

The successful candidate will bring hands-on experience working across multiple SAP master data objects, including Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance, and other enterprise data domains, with a strong foundation in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) and related master data processes.

 

This person will help drive data quality, governance, and process consistency by translating business requirements into effective SAP master data solutions, partnering closely with SAP teams, and supporting scalable governance frameworks, workflow execution, and continuous improvement initiatives.

 

This position reports to the Global Master Data Leader and is to work closely under the Master Data Leaders’ process guidelines.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders and SAP teams to support enterprise master data operations, governance, and process improvements across the SAP landscape
  • Act as a liaison between business users, SAP functional teams, and technical teams to translate business needs into effective master data solutions and workflow improvements
  • Support design, governance, and ongoing management of SAP master data across key data objects such as Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance, and other relevant enterprise domains
  • Execute and oversee data creation, maintenance, validation, cleansing, governance, and lifecycle processes using SAP MDG, SAP S/4HANA, and related master data tools
  • Coordinate data loads, mass updates, migration support, and workflow-driven changes using established templates, tools, and governance procedures
  • Maintain and enforce data governance standards, naming conventions, approval workflows, and compliance requirements to ensure data integrity and consistency
  • Monitor data quality, investigate issues, and drive resolution in partnership with business users, SAP support teams, and technical resources
  • Support testing, UAT, process documentation, training, and change management activities related to SAP master data and governance processes
  • Provide business-facing support and guidance to end users on master data processes, governance workflows, and best practices
  • Partner with Master Data leadership to identify opportunities for process standardization, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Master Data Management, Master Data Governance, or ERP data management roles within complex enterprise environments
  • Hands-on experience working with SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) and SAP S/4HANA master data processes
  • Strong experience across multiple SAP master data objects, such as Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance, and related enterprise data domains
  • Experience serving as a business-facing liaison who can gather requirements, clarify priorities, and translate business needs into SAP master data solutions
  • Experience with SAP data load, mass maintenance, migration, or related data management tools in support of master data operations
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related tools for data analysis, validation, cleansing, and reporting

 Preferred Qualifications

  • Business training and change management experience
  • Exposure to large-scale data migration or transformation projects
  • Experience working with global teams and extended support hours

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality management, workflow controls, and master data lifecycle processes
  • Proven ability to work closely with SAP functional teams, technical teams, and business stakeholders to support data governance and operational execution
  • Ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders, SAP teams, and technical teams at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Adaptability, sound judgment, and a continuous improvement mindset within established master data governance processes
  • Customer-service orientation with the ability to support end users and drive practical business solutions
  • Strong understanding of cross-functional business processes and the downstream impact of master data on operations, supply chain, finance, and customer processes
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes
Work Environment:
This is an on-site position based at the Trident Support Center office in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.
 
In-office time takes place in a typical office environment: temperature controlled with adequate lighting and moderate noise. While remote, employees must provide appropriate home office space.

Pay Range

USD $128,000.00 - USD $145,000.00 /Yr.
